Ken Brian's S800
The image is incorrectly labelled, notwithstanding the image is clearly an S800, and S800s were not sold in Australia until around Autumn 1967, Ken Brian was recently a special guest of a meeting of Honda S-car nuts held a few weekends ago at Lithgow in NSW. He was confident that the image was from his first outing in his “Sports Kit” S800 at Warwick Farm. He was an entry in the race program for WF 14th May 1967 as car # 71. The hardtop apparently was white originally, as seen in the image, but was painted black soon after, and then subsequently added a yellow strip from the nose of the car over the hardtop.
